Tyres and Alignment: Frequently Asked Questions

Signs include the car pulling to one side, a steering wheel that isn't straight when you're driving straight, and tyres wearing unevenly. If you notice any of these, get it checked.

In the UK the legal minimum tread depth for cars is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, around its whole circumference. Tyres grip best with more tread, so many drivers replace them before they reach the limit.

We provide tyre services and wheel alignment. Call us on 07759 430061 with your vehicle and tyre details and we'll tell you what we can do.

Uneven wear can be caused by wheel alignment, tyre pressures or worn suspension parts. A check helps us find the cause, so you don't keep wearing out tyres.
